Amalanku Terms of Use

Welcome to Amalanku. By downloading, installing, or using the Amalanku mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

📱 App Description

Amalanku is a mobile application designed to help Muslims maintain consistency in their daily Islamic practices. The App provides tools for tracking religious activities, prayer time reminders, and spiritual progress monitoring, all stored locally on your device.

✅ Acceptance of Terms

By using Amalanku, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old, or have parental consent if younger
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
  • You will use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws
  • You understand that the App is designed for personal spiritual use

🎯 Intended Use

Permitted Uses:

  • Personal tracking of Islamic daily practices (amalan)

Prohibited Uses:

📊 Local Data & Offline Functionality

Data Storage:

  • All your amalan data is stored locally on your device only
  • The App operates completely offline and does not require internet connection
  • You maintain full ownership and control of your spiritual data
  • No data is transmitted to external servers or third parties

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining backups of your data if desired (via PDF export)
  • Protecting your device and App data with appropriate security measures
  • Understanding that uninstalling the App will permanently delete your local data

🔔 Notifications & Reminders

Permission Usage:

  • Notification permission is used solely for prayer time reminders and amalan notifications
  • You can disable notifications at any time through device settings
  • Notifications are generated locally on your device
  • We do not send promotional or marketing notifications

📄 PDF Export Feature

Export Rights:

  • You may export your amalan records as PDF files for personal use
  • Exported PDFs are for your personal records, backup, or sharing as you choose
  • You retain full ownership of exported data
  • The App does not store copies of exported PDFs

🛡️ Disclaimer of Warranties

”As Is” Basis:

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements
  • Prayer time calculations are based on standard astronomical calculations and may require adjustment for local conditions

Spiritual Guidance:

  • The App is a tool for organization and tracking, not a substitute for Islamic knowledge
  • For religious guidance, please consult qualified Islamic scholars
  • The App should supplement, not replace, traditional Islamic learning and practice

🚫 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device malfunction, user error, or other causes
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App (if any)
  • We are not liable for any spiritual or religious decisions made based on App usage
